    Worst Service Department

    About Me

    Comments:

Had my pedals replaced, Old man with grey hair forcefully tightened the pedals(I thought the bike was gonna break in half the way he tightened my bike pedals...wow, he had it on a bike stand). Eventually Trek dealer had to replace my rear wheel because of this. Unbelievable,

      Comments:

I'm very pleassed with the bike's performance, it's light weight, acceptable price, what I like best it's the gears, very robust gear set by SRAM, I was able to beat my own personal best time by 6 minutes on a trail that I used to do in 1:08:16, now I can do it in 1:02:00 and I can do better already by making some adjustments to the seat height. One point for improvement is the work the store did to make the tubeless conversion, when the bike was assembled in Guadalajara, Mexico, the Trek store informed me that the tape used was not addecuate for tubeless conversion and there were a lot of bubbles left from the installation that caused several leaks, they had to remove the tape, clean the rim surface and do the job again. Besides that the bike is great, I'm very happy with the purchase I made.

        Comments:

I love this bike! It has been a great bike to learn the ropes of mountain biking on. I feel confident and in control on trails and appreciate this bike's durability. Ride quality is great, although I think it could be greatly improved with upgraded wheels. Despite the aluminum frame the bike is relatively light and agile feeling on trails. The brakes on this bike feel great as well. From learning the basics to conquoring my first cross country races, this bike is exactly what I needed to learn the ropes of mountain biking and continue to grow in the sport for years to come.
